Description

Three small birds share a branch at the door. One in brown with a buttery wing and a dark swoop of feathers, one in buttercup yellow with her eyes closed, a heart-shaped beak and a pink bow, and one in deep blue, wide awake and watching the path.

Behind and below them, rolled felt roses open in cream, red, blue and gold among beaded green leaves, and a small pink bow is tied to the far end of the branch.

From two cords beneath hangs a second piece of felt with WELCOME spelled out letter by letter, each one cut and stitched in its own color, finished with a rose-pink blossom.

A braided wool cord carries the weight, so it hangs from a single hook on a front door, an entryway wall, a porch under cover, or above a nursery shelf. Made from New Zealand wool.

Pure New Zealand pasture wool naturally repels dust and light spills thanks to its dense, organic fiber structure.

Day-to-dayDust with a soft brush or a cool hairdryer on its lowest setting, working around the roses rather than over them.

Spot cleaningDab with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then blot dry.

HangingWool is not weatherproof, so hang it on an inside door or a porch that stays dry and out of direct sun. Lift it by the cord rather than the branch.

NeverMachine wash, soak or wring.
