Description
A banana you can wear. This crochet crossbody is worked in sunny yellow cotton-style yarn in a half-moon shape that curves like a ripe banana, with ridged rows of chunky stitches running the length of the bag and a little brown crocheted stem at one tip and a green tip at the other.
A zipper runs along the top edge and opens wide onto a roomy interior, big enough for sunglasses and a lipstick, as shown in the photos. The long yellow braided-crochet strap clips on with silver swivel clasps and has a small knot detail near the end.
Hanging from the stem is the finishing joke: a plump red crocheted strawberry with a green leafy cap and a twisted green stalk. Together they make a banana split.
