Description

The whole front is a patch of woodland ground. A red toadstool with white spots stands beside a soft orange one, an orange sprig grows up between them, and a white daisy with a yellow eye leans toward a pink toadstool on the far side, each on its own little green leaf.

On the flap above, two oak leaves have come down: one still green, one already turned to rust. It's the week the season changes, held on a pouch.

The felt itself drifts from a deeper shade at the top to a lighter one at the hem, so the ground reads as ground. Inside it is unlined, the same wool all the way through, and the strap is a felted cord knotted through from the inside rather than glued or stapled on. A magnetic snap holds the flap shut with a quiet click, and the whole thing is cut to take a phone.

Pure New Zealand pasture wool naturally repels dust and light spills thanks to its dense, organic fiber structure.

Day-to-dayBrush gently with a soft brush, working around the toadstools rather than over them.

Spot cleaningDab with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then blot dry. Test a hidden spot first, as dyed wool can shift color when wet.

ReshapingPress flat with your hands and air dry away from direct heat. Keep the magnetic snap away from cards with a magnetic stripe.

NeverMachine wash or soak.
